This information has been compiled from our experienced staff and information from our regular cruisers. Each cruise line has its own set of standards and programs so please refer to your cruise line brochure or their website for more specific information.

Important Information

 

Pre-registration is required and must be completed online at the cruise line website.  Please note that documents will not be released without Credit Card Payment form(Blue sheet)  and Insurance Waiver (Green Sheet)  signed and received in our office by ALL passengers sailing.  Failure to do so will delay release of your final documents.

 

Final payment must be received in our office by the date shown on the Confirmation Notice.  Failure to submit the final payment by the due date will result in the cancellation of the cruise and forfeiture of all payments made. Please check your confirmation carefully for accuracy.  Errors should be reported to our office immediately.  Any questions regarding documents or your booking should be directed to your Cruise Advisor. Documents are received by our office 7 to 10 days prior to your sailing.  They are sent to you via email or US Mail.

 

Cancellations are subject to conditions as set forth by the individual cruise lines and must be submitted in writing to our office. We recommend Certified Mail.  A service fee of $100.00 per cabin charge is assessed for processing and cancellation by our office. A check must be included with the letter of cancellation.  A service fee of $75.00 per person, per change will be assessed for any changes made to your reservation within 75 days of your departure as well as additional charges as may be required by the carrier or cruise line for such changes.  All "service fees" must be paid by cashier or bank check.  Personal checks require clearing the passenger's bank before any changes or corrections are applied.  Payment of charges must be made prior to changes being confirmed.  This fee does not apply to upgrading or adding services.  All prices quoted are based upon cash payments.  Credit cards are readily accepted subject to individual cruise lines.  Credit card payments processed and declined are subject to a $25.00 service fee per transaction.  Personal checks returned for insufficient funds are assessed a $75.00 fee.  Final payment must be received by our office by the date due.  Failure will result in cancellation of the cruise and forfeiture of payments made.

 

Cruise line coupons and any other special promotions submitted to us are subject to a $25.00 handling fee.  Additional discounts, coupons and other promotions are not combinable with discounts and rates already provided.  Trip and travel insurance is highly recommended.  Insurance waiver and Credit Card forms (as needed) must be received in our offices in order to process documents.  Documents will not be furnished without proper forms on file.

 

If you have purchased the air/sea package, the cruise line will issue the airline tickets.  Please note that with this program changes in carriers or flight times cannot be made.  The cruise lines, in conjunction with the airlines, block seats on all flights.  When ticketing is done, approximately two weeks prior to your cruise, it is at the discretion of the cruise lines and airlines.  We do not have any control over which flights are given, nor are we able to change them before or after they have been made.  If you book independent air, the cruise line is not responsible for your showing up late or after the ship has sailed.  Presently, many of the cruise lines will allow you to deviate from their schedules if you are looking for a special carrier or special flights.  These are considered only requests, but we do the best we can to assist you.  Please note that if you are looking for special air flights or specific air carriers, th request should be made at the time of booking or as soon as possible after depositing.  There is a service fee for the program and it will vary for each cruise.

 

Travel and Trip Insurance

 

Trip Cancellation and Travel Insurance affords you the protection of Travel Delay Coverage, Emergency, Medical and Dental Benefits, Baggage Coverage. Baggages Delay Coverage, and Travel Accident Coverage.  We highly recommend the use of Trip Insurance.  Insurance should be taken out as soon as you have deposited.  The insurance "waiver" must be signed and returned to our office - without this form on file, we will not process documents.

 

Consumer Disclosure Notice - Part of Contract of Service

Please read this notice.  It constitutes part of your contract for travel related services.

 

theCRUISEOUTLET.com, LLC and its' employees are acting as mere agent for Suppliers (identified on the accompanying documents) in selling travel related services, or in accepting reservations or bookings for services that are not directly supplied by this agency (such as air and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, cruises, etc.).  This agency, therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract or any intentional or careless actions or omissions on part of such suppliers, which results in any loss damage, delay, or injury to you or your travel companions or group members.  The Cruise Outlet, LLC and its' employees should not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climate conditions, abnormal conditions or developments, or any actions, omissions, or conditions outside the agent's control.  Traveler assumes complete and full responsibilty for, and hereby releases, theCRUISEOUTLET.com, LLC and its' employees from any duty of checking and verifying any security conditions at sich destinations, din the length of the proposed travel.  For information concerning possible dangers at international destinations, contact the Travel Advisory Section of the US State Department.  For medical information, call the US Public Health Service.  By embarking upon his/her travel, the traveler volutarily assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected.  Traveler is hereby warned of such risks, and is advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage against them. Traveler's retention of tickets, reservations, or bookings after issuance shall constitute a consent to the above, and an agreement on his/her part to convey the contents hereto to his/her travel companions or group members.
